Dr. Seuss Project

Read Across America better known as Dr. Seuss Day will be here in about two weeks. At my school we are responsible sending up student work samples of "Seuss-y" stuff to plaster the front hallways by the entrance.

Last year the students made Dr. Seuss Characters. This year we did something different. I saw an "iPad" project from Delighted in Second and decided to make Seuss iPads. Best thing of all, the template was FREE!

Students had to create 9 Seuss Apps. Then they created an App Manual for each Seuss App. Basically the App Manual consisted of Book Overviews.

    We typically read Dr. Seuss books and do activities for each one. This year we are doing a video conference through Read Around the Planet and we are connecting with a class in Missouri. I am super excited!!
